Information about abrasive qualities:
The low cost of poor quality abrasives appears
very attractive at first glance: the actual cost, however, is usually only discovered later or not
at all because there are no available comparisons.
The disadvantages are:

  • incorrect or fluctuating grain sizes cause inconsistent blasting results

  • poor grain shapes produce lower quality of blasting

  • poor grain stability results in greater abrasive consumption and more dust in the system.
    More waste is also produced.

  • insufficient material purities may also pose
    risks to health
